Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

TravelShare (travelshare.online) is a collaborative travel planning tool that helps you organize and share trip itineraries. You can contact us at rudolfolexa@daytrip.com.

2. What information we collect

TravelShare does not require an account. We collect minimal information:

• Trip planning inputs — origin city, destination, travel dates, traveler count, and budget tier that you enter into the planning wizard. This data is used only to generate your results and is not stored on our servers after your session ends.
• Share codes — when you generate a trip share code, the associated trip data is stored temporarily (up to 7 days) so recipients can view it. No personal identifiers are attached to share codes.
• AI suggestions — if you use the "Surprise me" AI feature, your destination preferences are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate suggestions. Google's privacy policy applies to that data: policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Cookies and tracking

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated traffic data (page views, referrers, country, device type). Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not track individuals or share data with advertisers. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may also set essential technical cookies for performance and security. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioral tracking tools.

We use a Travelpayouts affiliate tracking script to attribute travel bookings made through links on TravelShare to our affiliate account. This script is provided by Travelpayouts and may set cookies for the purpose of affiliate attribution. Travelpayouts' privacy policy applies to data collected by this script: travelpayouts.com/legal/privacy.

4. Affiliate links

Booking links on the results page (for flights, hotels, car rentals, transfers, and experiences) are affiliate links. When you click one and complete a booking, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is not affected. The third-party booking sites you visit have their own privacy policies.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with service providers needed to operate TravelShare (Vercel for hosting, Google for AI features) and only to the extent necessary.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the EU or California, you have rights regarding your personal data. Because we collect very little personal data and do not link it to your identity, most requests can be satisfied by simply not using the service. 7. Children's privacy

TravelShare is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of TravelShare after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
